Responsibilities
- Lead complex cross-border M&A transactions from due diligence through closing.
- Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements, including purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to C-suite executives and Board members on governance matters.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary deal teams and manage external counsel in international jurisdictions.
- Develop and mentor junior associates to foster a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Manage client relationships and ensure the delivery of premium, white-glove legal service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
- 5-8 years of dedicated experience in corporate law within a major national or international law firm.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale M&A projects and capital markets transactions.
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
