Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to final closeout.
- Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring maximum cost efficiency.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and secure necessary permits and licenses.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design and construction issues.
- Implement and utilize construction management software (e.g., Procore) to track project progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections and lead project status meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Active OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ground-up commercial projects exceeding $10M in value.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and building codes in Texas.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam) and project scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
