Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control and tracking against established financial KPIs.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
- Direct on-site personnel and maintain rigorous quality control standards.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety regulations and local building codes.
- Manage procurement processes and negotiate vendor contracts for optimal project value.
- Provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of delivering multi-million dollar projects on time and under budget.
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Thorough knowledge of building systems, local zoning laws, and contract administration.
- PMP or CCM certification is highly preferred.
