Responsibilities
- Lead and direct large-scale commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and timely delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address technical issues, and resolve field conflicts.
- Manage contract negotiations and procurement processes for major materials and labor.
- Mentor junior project engineers and project assistants to foster professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction management.
- Proven expertise in utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 software.
- Deep understanding of OSHA 30-hour safety regulations and building permit processes.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong financial acumen regarding project cost tracking and change order management.
- PMP or CCM certification is highly preferred.
