Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Direct on-site operations, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and change orders to ensure maximum profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and city officials to ensure seamless project execution.
- Mentoring and supervising site superintendents and junior project staff.
- Oversee rigorous quality control measures and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Drive value-engineering initiatives to optimize project costs without sacrificing design integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of managing projects valued at $20M+.
- Deep proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with subcontractors and vendors.
- Current PMP or CCM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Texas building codes and local zoning regulations.
