Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure maximum profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and design compliance.
- Enforce strict quality control standards and ensure all site work meets OSHA safety regulations.
- Manage project schedules, identifying potential bottlenecks and implementing proactive solutions.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, providing transparent updates and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Mentor junior project engineers and site supervisors to foster professional growth within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar construction projects from inception to completion.
- Expertise in industry-standard project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam).
- Deep understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and contract management in the Texas market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams of tradespeople and consultants.
- PMP or CCM certification is highly preferred.
