Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire construction lifecycle, from pre-conception to final turnover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage financial performance by monitoring budgets, forecasting costs, and preparing accurate weekly/monthly cost reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA compliance) and quality control standards on all job sites.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain design integrity.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients to provide regular project status updates and manage expectations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring continuity and minimizing delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Valid PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and local regulations in New York.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects valued at $10M+.
