Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Direct cross-functional teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and site superintendents.
- Oversee project budgets, procurement schedules, and strict cost-control measures.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through clear, proactive, and transparent communication.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks to prevent schedule delays and budget overruns.
- Review blueprints and technical specifications to ensure structural and aesthetic integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $20M in value.
- Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior project engineers.
- Professional certification (PMP or CCM) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Texas-specific zoning laws and permitting requirements.
