Responsibilities
- Direct large-scale construction projects from inception to final handover.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain rigorous on-site safety standards and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and project schedules for accuracy and feasibility.
- Mentor junior project engineers and site supervisors to foster talent development.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing projects valued at $20M+.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and advanced project scheduling software like Primavera P6.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse on-site teams.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and contract management.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
