Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Maintain rigorous oversight of site operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and architectural partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Review blueprints and technical specifications to identify potential bottlenecks before they impact the critical path.
- Direct on-site staff, ensuring daily work logs and progress reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and manage procurement to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising material quality.
- Implement proactive risk management strategies to mitigate project delays and budget overruns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing mid-to-large scale commercial construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- In-depth knowledge of Texas building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in excess of $20M.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage diverse teams of skilled laborers and subcontractors.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification is strictly required.
