Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all phases of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing clear and concise project updates.
- Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
