Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Lead and oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring successful delivery.</li><li>Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.</li><li>Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.</li><li>Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and change order management.</li><li>Conduct regular project reviews and prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years of progressive experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably in the Austin market.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-million dollar construction projects from ground-up to renovation.</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and industry best practices.</li><li>Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and CAD software.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP certification is a strong asset.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.</li></ul>
