Responsibilities

  • &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lead and oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring successful delivery.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and change order management.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Conduct regular project reviews and prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

Qualifications

  • &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;5+ years of progressive experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably in the Austin market.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-million dollar construction projects from ground-up to renovation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and industry best practices.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and CAD software.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP certification is a strong asset.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;
