Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Direct all on-site operations, from ground-breaking to final walkthrough, ensuring alignment with project plans.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage multi-million dollar budgets, track costs, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent overruns.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and collaboration.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols through regular site audits.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and government officials, providing regular progress updates.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections to ensure all materials and workmanship meet the highest specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
- License: Valid Texas Class A General Contractor License.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
