Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire construction lifecycle from ground-breaking to final handover, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion within financial constraints.
- Enforce strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations, COSHH, and site protocols to maintain a zero-accident record.
- Liaise effectively with clients, architects, structural engineers, and local authorities to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site teams and subcontractors, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control audits to monitor progress and material standards.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial or residential construction management within the UK.
- Valid CSCS Gold Card or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB).
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning laws, and planning permission processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
