Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to the project program and design specifications.
- Manage the construction budget, including cost control, value engineering, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Enforce rigorous Health and Safety standards, ensuring full compliance with UK HSE regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Lead and mentor a diverse site team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements to stakeholders.
- Resolve complex technical and logistical issues on-site with innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager or Site Manager within the UK construction industry (minimum 7 years).
- Valid CSCS Gold Card or equivalent professional construction qualification (HNC/HND in Construction Management).
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, CDM Regulations 2015, and health and safety legislation.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, or AutoCAD).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
