Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Lead the migration and optimization of containerized workloads in Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement advanced CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive performance analysis and implement cost-optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define site reliability engineering (SRE) standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in cloud security and observability.
- Proactively manage incident responses and implement long-term preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Expertise in AWS or Google Cloud Platform, including IAM, VPC, and K8s managed services.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform and Helm.
- Proven track record of managing high-traffic distributed systems at scale.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
