Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services using Go and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and design teams to iterate on high-impact features.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and throughput across our microservices architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Develop and maintain secure API integrations with third-party service providers.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives to streamline deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend languages (Go, Python, or Node.js).
- Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
- Proven track record of designing and managing high-traffic distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL database design and query optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
