Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for a diverse client base.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and clinical interventions.
- Provide high-impact individual, group, and family therapeutic counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatric and medical staff, to ensure holistic care.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff and Master of Social Work (MSW) interns.
- Lead crisis intervention efforts and de-escalation strategies in high-pressure situations.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and reporting in compliance with New York State regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution.
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a hospital or community-based setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and proven cultural competency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads with a high degree of autonomy.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and modern telehealth platforms.
