Responsibilities
- Design and implement clinical informatics solutions for hospital EMR systems
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify optimization opportunities
- Train healthcare staff on new informatics technologies and best practices
- Develop data-driven strategies to improve clinical decision support
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, and healthcare data standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Evaluate system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, or related field
- 5+ years of clinical informatics experience in healthcare settings
- EMR implementation expertise (Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with clinical workflow mapping and optimization
- Valid Massachusetts healthcare professional license (RN, etc.)
