Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vital signs and complex medical equipment performance.
- Collaborate effectively with intensivists, surgeons, and respiratory therapists.
- Administer advanced medications and manage complex intravenous lines.
- Maintain precise, real-time electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to families of patients.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress, emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork.
