Responsibilities
- Investigate and settle high-exposure Property & Casualty claims with precision and speed.
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections and evaluate damage estimates for accuracy.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders, legal counsel, and third-party adjusters.
- Maintain impeccable documentation within our proprietary claims management software.
- Analyze coverage forms and policies to determine liability and extent of coverage.
- Lead complex litigation management and partner with legal teams on contested claims.
- Advocate for the customer experience while upholding corporate financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in P&C claims adjusting (Property focus preferred).
- Current Adjuster License in the state of Connecticut (or ability to obtain reciprocal).
- Advanced knowledge of Xactimate and industry-standard estimation tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of resolving complex disputes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload under strict deadlines.
