Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of complex land development and municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
- Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team of junior engineers and CAD technicians to ensure technical precision and project milestones.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for stormwater management systems.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Navigate complex permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via comity).
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil design, specifically in land development or municipal works.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and client relationships.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and communication skills for high-level technical reporting.
