Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects, including site grading, drainage, and utilities.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies through construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance on design standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, architects, and environmental scientists.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Utilize advanced software to prepare detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Oversee on-site inspections to ensure project execution aligns with design documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Storm and Sanitary Analysis software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical data to stakeholders and clients.
