Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects, including roadways, storm drainage, and site utilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
- Prepare and review technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
- Provide expert technical mentorship to junior staff and conduct rigorous quality control reviews.
- Represent the firm in client-facing meetings and municipal planning commission presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington State or eligibility to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local municipal building codes, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
