Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, detailed design specifications, and permit documentation.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies through final construction administration.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate seamlessly with municipal agencies, stakeholders, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Review and stamp engineering drawings ensuring full compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
- Optimize site grading, paving, and stormwater management systems using advanced civil design software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Washington or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site development or municipal engineering.
- High-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software (HEC-RAS or HydroCAD).
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental impact standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex project budgets and aggressive timelines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
