Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including roadways, utilities, and site grading.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies to final construction documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including environmental consultants and local government agencies.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to ensure structural and environmental integrity.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure full compliance with local building codes, state regulations, and environmental safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
- Current PE (Professional Engineer) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software packages.
- Strong technical communication skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
- Deep understanding of local stormwater management regulations and erosion control standards.
