Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, utility infrastructure, and site development.
- Perform advanced engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Oversee project teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and quality control for all deliverables.
- Serve as a primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, environmental specialists, and construction teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong portfolio of infrastructure projects.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling tools.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal engineering codes, standards, and regulatory processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
