Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to streamline permitting processes.
- Conduct thorough site investigations and evaluate construction materials for project suitability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the design phase.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to simulate load-bearing capacities and environmental impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas is mandatory.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in municipal or industrial civil infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations and zoning laws.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to stakeholders.
