Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary design teams on high-profile commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects.
- Create, review, and seal comprehensive civil engineering plans including grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control systems.
- Represent clients at public hearings, municipal planning sessions, and regulatory agency permit reviews.
- Conduct advanced stormwater management modeling using industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic software.
- Manage project financials, scopes of work, and delivery timelines to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical mentorship and career development guidance to junior civil engineers and CAD designers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado, or immediate reciprocity eligibility.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive site design and civil engineering project management experience.
- Expert-level command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and StormCAD.
- Proven track record of successfully navigating municipal zoning laws and permitting processes.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
