Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
- Develop sustainable solutions incorporating green infrastructure and resilience principles
- Coordinate with stakeholders including municipalities, contractors, and environmental agencies
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, and permits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing projects $5M+
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FEMA standards
- Certification in sustainable infrastructure (LEED AP or Envision preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
