Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams including urban planners and environmental consultants.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with state and local municipal regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee site inspections and construction administration to guarantee design adherence.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Strong understanding of TxDOT standards and local Houston municipal codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical clients.
