Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Oversee site investigations, geotechnical assessments, and construction phase services
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and local municipal regulations
- Develop cost estimates and project schedules using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Survey, and Bentley OpenRail
- Experience with complex hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, SWMM)
- Strong knowledge of local permitting processes and environmental regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects
