Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of major civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Conduct site investigations and analyze geotechnical data to inform engineering decisions
- Develop detailed construction plans using Auto Civil 3D and BIM modeling software
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and community stakeholders
- Lead sustainability initiatives integrating green infrastructure solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project delivery
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM 360, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of managing $10M+ infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with TxDOT and FEMA standards
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
