Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, waterfront developments, and underground utilities
- Conduct advanced structural analysis and geotechnical assessments using BIM/CIM modeling tools
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, tender documents, and construction drawings
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources while ensuring compliance with Singapore Building Authority (BCA) regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental consultants, government agencies)
- Implement sustainable design solutions and green infrastructure technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of engineering deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil infrastructure design with 3+ years in Singapore or similar regulatory environmentsProfessional Engineer (PE) registration with Singapore's Professional Engineers Board (PEB)
- Expertise in structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and BIM tools (Revit Civil 3D)
- Deep knowledge of Singapore's Code of Practice for Structural Use of Concrete (CP65) and Geotechnical Design Standards
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding SGD 50M in value
- Strong understanding of sustainability certifications (BCA Green Mark, LEED)
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
