Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit BIM software
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists, contractors) to ensure seamless project delivery
- Conduct site inspections, quality control audits, and compliance verification with local/state regulations
- Develop detailed cost estimates, project schedules, and risk mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and construction management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $10M in value
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and local permitting processes
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
