Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycle from conceptualization to completion
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and international building codes
- Conduct advanced hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis for site-specific solutions
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M with rigorous cost-control methodologies
- Develop innovative sustainable infrastructure designs using BIM/CIM technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive infrastructure design experience
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state grant-funded projects
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain management and TCEQ regulations
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- LEED AP certification highly desirable
