Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex land development and infrastructure projects.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from preliminary feasibility studies to final construction administration.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure project alignment.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for stormwater management systems.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with state, local, and federal environmental and building codes.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, public hearings, and municipal planning board sessions.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil site development or municipal infrastructure design.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and StormCAD.
- Strong background in drainage, grading, utility design, and permitting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with regulatory agencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
