Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale municipal and commercial infrastructure projects.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and prepare technical reports to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Manage project lifecycles from feasibility studies and site analysis through final construction documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and city planning departments.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, public hearings, and municipal permitting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required.
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental permitting standards.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting strict budgetary and timeline milestones.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
