Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of large-scale civil infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage, and utility networks.
- Perform complex site assessments and feasibility studies using advanced modeling software.
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through final construction and regulatory approval.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure compliance and quality.
- Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of technical excellence and safety on-site.
- Review engineering calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Implement sustainable design strategies to meet environmental and community standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in civil infrastructure or municipal engineering.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater management modeling.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and building codes.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Demonstrated history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
