Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including MRT extensions, high-rise developments, and coastal protection systems
- Perform advanced structural analysis using BIM software (Revit, Tekla) and finite element modeling tools
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, environmental consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with Singapore's Building Control Act and Green Mark certification requirements
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot complex geotechnical challenges in urban environments
- Develop innovative solutions for land reclamation and underground space utilization
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to firm-wide technical excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Singapore's construction sector
- Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation with Singapore's Board of Engineers
- Expertise in geotechnical analysis, structural design, and project management methodologies
- Proficiency in local codes (BCA) and international standards (BSI, ACI)
- Proven track record of delivering projects exceeding SGD 50M in value
- Certification in BIM Level 2 implementation and sustainability practices
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to regulatory bodies and stakeholders
