Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex civil engineering projects from conceptual phase to completion.
- Oversee site development, grading, utility layout, and stormwater management systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and construction managers.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and provide expert technical consultation during the construction phase.
- Review and approve detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Foster strong relationships with government agencies and private stakeholders to secure necessary project approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil site design and infrastructure development.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD software.
- Deep understanding of municipal codes, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage multi-disciplinary team workflows.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
