Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including drainage, water distribution, and roadway systems.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring strict adherence to budget, timelines, and municipal safety regulations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including city agencies, contractors, and public utility departments.
- Perform advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to ensure environmental compliance and structural integrity.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents prepared by project teams.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and designers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Oversee construction administration activities, including site visits and progress report assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in municipal or land development engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex project budgets and project team communications.
- In-depth knowledge of local municipal codes, zoning regulations, and infrastructure design standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the company in public hearings and client meetings.
