Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage systems, and site utilities.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and modeling using AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
- Oversee project lifecycle from conceptual design through to construction administration and final inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, environmental consultants, and public stakeholders.
- Ensure all project deliverables adhere strictly to state, federal, and local regulatory codes.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timeline milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide technical mentorship and quality assurance reviews for junior staff engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site development or municipal engineering.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance, BMP design, and NPDES permitting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
