Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of large-scale municipal infrastructure projects.
- Conduct complex hydraulic, hydrologic, and site grading analysis for urban developments.
- Coordinate seamlessly with local government agencies, architects, and stakeholders to secure project approvals.
- Manage technical documentation, specifications, and project reporting to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional project teams to maintain efficiency.
- Oversee site inspections and quality assurance testing to ensure design compliance.
- Optimize project lifecycles using advanced BIM and CAD software suites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure planning.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- Demonstrated expertise in sustainable drainage systems and erosion control strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management.
- Expertise in navigating local zoning codes and environmental regulations.
