Responsibilities
- Lead the design and oversight of large-scale civil infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, engineering reports, and construction documents.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including municipal agencies, contractors, and private developers.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical knowledge sharing within the design team.
- Perform complex site grading, drainage analysis, and utility layout modeling.
- Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to safety standards and design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Colorado licensure or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in land development or municipal engineering.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, and HEC-RAS modeling software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental permitting.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
