Responsibilities
- Lead design and project management for major municipal infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Oversee site inspections, contractor coordination, and compliance with Ontario Building Code and CSA standards
- Develop innovative sustainable infrastructure solutions with LEED certification focus
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews for technical accuracy
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and project schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. license in Ontario
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects
- Expertise in transportation planning, hydraulic modeling, and geotechnical analysis
- Proficiency with BIM/CIM technologies and construction project management software
- Strong knowledge of municipal procurement processes and contract administration
- Proven track record delivering projects on budget within complex regulatory environments
- Certification in LEED AP or equivalent sustainability credential preferred
