Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and stormwater systems
- Manage project lifecycle from conceptualization through construction oversight
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, City of Houston) for compliance approvals
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of technical deliverables
- Perform hydraulic modeling and geotechnical analysis for site-specific solutions
- Prepare cost estimates and construction schedules for infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale transportation or water projects
- Strong understanding of TxDOT standards and local regulations
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
