Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex civil infrastructure projects, including site development, storm drainage, and roadway improvements.
- Oversee project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies through construction administration.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and modeling using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS.
- Review and approve construction documents to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects and environmental consultants.
- Manage client expectations and project budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Represent the firm at technical meetings, public hearings, and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in civil site design and infrastructure development.
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, StormCAD, and Bentley Systems software.
- Strong understanding of local Houston/Harris County municipal development codes and permitting processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead presentations and technical reports.
