Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee the entire civil engineering project lifecycle, from initial site analysis and feasibility studies to final design, tendering, and construction administration.
- Technical Design: Develop detailed civil engineering designs, including grading, drainage, site layout, and utility coordination using advanced CAD and BIM software.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and project deliverables strictly adhere to local, state, and federal building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting regular progress meetings, presentations, and technical reviews to ensure project satisfaction.
- Team Management: Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
- Cost & Schedule Control: Monitor project budgets and timelines, implementing effective strategies to mitigate risks and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
