Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex civil engineering projects, including site development, transportation systems, and structural planning.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and feasibility studies to ensure project integrity and compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, urban planners, and external contractors.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards (OSHA) and environmental regulations throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in civil design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and civil engineering software such as Bentley Civil or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal construction codes and regulations.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications (e.g., LEED AP) is a plus.
